MEGASYNC™: Innovative timing belts for dynamic industries
Our timing belt manufacturer Megadyne has launched a new brand name for one of its product lines. From now on, MEGASYNC™ will be the name used for its line of high-quality endless rubber timing belts for dynamic applications.
The top model of this line, MEGASYNC™ Titanium, was introduced earlier this year. These endless-wound belts have been combined into one product family, covering the full spectrum of performance requirements.
As you can see from the Performance index (photo), the new Silver3 delivers up to more than 3 times the power of the standard RPP/HTD timing belt. The Gold 2 has a multiple of 4x the power output. The new Titanium timing belt even achieves more than 6 times the power output of a standard RPP/HTD timing belt.
Applying a stronger belt offers the possibility of narrowing the timing belt and pulleys, lowering overall costs, allowing for more compact construction and reduced shaft load.
